Berkshire Waldorf High School Artists in Norman Rockwell Museum Annual High School Art Show
Stockbridge, MA, January 21, 2015—The Berkshire Waldorf High School has ten entries in the 29th Annual Berkshire County High School Art Show at the Norman Rockwell Museum. Waldorf High School entries include sculptures by Dimitri Koufis and Pearl Elsbach, Class of 2018; Erica Wainwright and Noah Meyerowitz, Class of 2017, and Takoda Nordoff, Class of 2015. Sculpture classes are taught by Guy Nordoff. And the School has five entries of woodblock prints and scratchboards by Owen Montenegro, Natalie Fernbacher, Livia Casarsa, and Amelia Churchill, Class of 2017, and Ruby Lamond, Class of 2018. Block printing and scratchboard are taught by Elizabeth Lombardi. Each participating school has contributed up to ten works of art.
According to the Rockwell Museum’s website, an exhibition opening will be held on Saturday, February 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. “Celebrate the creative talent on display from Berkshire County high schools, and meet the artists behind the works on view (participating schools to be announced). At 2:30 p.m., enjoy a lecture from internationally published illustrator Marc Rosenthal, who will offer insight and encouragement to future art professionals. Admission to the High School Art Show and opening is free (but does not include regular Museum admission). On view at the Museum through March 8, 2015, the exhibition is generously sponsored by Berkshire Bank.”
