Stephen Keith Sagarin , PhD, Faculty Chair; history, math, English, has his doctorate in U.S. History from Columbia University and his BA in Art History and Fine Art from Princeton University. He is a graduate of the Waldorf School of Garden City, NY, where he taught for 11 years before moving to Massachusetts. He is Associate Professor and Director of Independent Projects in Waldorf Teacher Education at Sunbridge College, NY, and editor of the Research Bulletin of the Research Institute for Waldorf Education. Elizabeth Lombardi, fine arts, has a BA from Oberlin College with a major in fine arts and an art teacher’s certificate from Adelphi University.
She has been a Waldorf teacher for more than 30 years as well as a teacher of adults. Mrs. Lombardi has taught at the Waldorf Institute for Liberal Education, Garden City, NY. She teaches in the Foundation Studies Program of the Waldorf School of Princeton, NJ. Years with GBWHS: 2
Robert Oelhaf, PhD, math, science, has his doctorate from the University of Maryland in economics, where he also taught. He graduated from Carleton College in math, has an MA in physics from Columbia University and an MA in Divinity from Union Theological Seminary. He was a founding teacher of the Hawthorne Valley High School and has taught at Kimberton and Flensburg Waldorf schools. He has also taught business and technical English at Flensburg University. Krista Palmer, physical education, earned her BA in Physical Education from Wittenberg University, OH, and has her certificate from the Spatial Dynamics Institute. She was previously Athletic Director at the Kimberton Waldorf School, PA, and is a graduate of the Waldorf School of Garden City, NY. Years with GBWHS: 6
Beth Robbins, English, history. After receiving her Waldorf teaching certificate from Antioch NE, Beth was a class teacher at Hawthorne Valley School in Harlemville, NY.

Ursula Wirth, German, is a graduate of the Munich Rudolf Steiner School.
She worked as a librarian and research assistant at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she also taught German for Siemens, Ltd. She has also worked as a German and English language tutor in Munich. Years with GBWHS: 6
Ramona A. Bellamy Office Manager . Before joining the Waldorf High School as Office Manager Ramona A. Bellamy worked at Coleman Psychological Services in Hillsdale. She has also worked as Administrative Assistant at the Great Barrington Rudolf Steiner School, and, prior to that, at MetLife Insurance Company in Torrington, CT. She has been Substitute Staff Coordinator for the Southern Berkshire Regional School District, Sheffield, MA, and a Teacher’s Assistant at the Kent Park & Recreation Department, Kent, CT.
